Description
This was a multi phased project with numerous sectional handovers working in an existing school to construct a new classroom / dining facility and refurbishment of the existing science labs.

Donner Block
This was the new build phase of the project and consisted of a new classroom facility, dining room, kitchen and staff offices. There were numerous services provided within the building including air condition, mechanical ventilation, natural ventilation, low temperature hot water heating, domestic water services, soil & waste installation, gas, small power, lighting, data, fire alarm, building management system as well as specialist services to the kitchen facilities.

Science Block
This part of the contract was a refurbishment of the existing Science Labs and was undertaken during school term with partial access and with night time/ weekend shutdowns. The services provided were upgrading and replacing the existing gas systems, domestic water services, soil & waste installation, small power, lighting data, fire alarm and building management system.

6th Form Centre
Isolation and strip out services to enable the safe demolition of the 6th Form Centre following its relocation to the new Donner Block.

Armoury
A refurbishment of the existing Gym block to accommodate a new armoury, services included domestic water services, soil and waste installation, small power, lighting data, fire alarm as well as specialist security systems for the armoury.

Zochonics Block
New IT server hub installation including, full data installation and close control air conditioning.

Other
Numerous isolation/ diversions of services took place in other areas of the school to accommodate the new build and refurbishment works. This included out of hours/weekend working so not to disrupt the smooth running of the school.
